Here are some of my most memorable Bb. Pilipinas Q & A. This includes those remarkably best and those hilariously unforgettable:
Teresa Licaros – Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2007
Just check the reaction of Mdm Stella and Pitoy after Tere’s answer! Kaloka diba? Galing ni Tere… She could have been a threat to Riyo if she made it to Miss Universe’s Top 5.
Marie-ann Umali – Bb. Pilipinas 2006
Literally, Marie-ann’s answer is one of the most controversial answer in Bb. Pilipinas History. Until now, pageant fans are still arguing as to the exact word she mentioned. Some would say that it is fit while others would insist that it is felt. Only Marie-ann knows… With this unforgettable answer, Marie-ann went home empty handed. However, 3 years after, she came back with a vengeance and with a better Q&A into her way of winning the Bb. Pilipinas World 2009 crown.
Jeannie Andersen – Bb. Pilipinas 2001
Kalowka si Jeannie! Parang titser kung magalit, “Quiet Please!” It took me at least 5 minutes to finish this 2 minutes and 27 seconds long video! I just can’t finish it maybe because of her “near-hyperventilation” reaction… Katakot! I do have to say that she pulled it really well! It was such an awkward situation….
Melanie Marquez – Bb. Pilipinas International 1979
Kalowka na man talaga itong si Melanie! Her answer will truly be an unforgettable one! Despite this brouhaham she had the sweetest revenge by claiming the 3rd Miss International crown of the country. She will always be one of my fave Bb. Pilipinas queens.
Janina San Miguel – Bb. Pilipinas World 2008
Janina’s answer will surely live forever! It is unforgettable and controversial. Living in the Philippines, a country considered as one of the biggest english-speaking countries in the world, Filipinos are expected to speak english fluently. However, Janina’s performance created a stir, not really because of the thought behind her answer, but more on the question of Filipino’s capability to speak fluent english!
Lia Ramos – Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2006
To end this post in a positive note, let me show you the impeccable Q&A performance of Lia Ramos. The thought behind the answer is NOT really concise but I admire the delivery. All the ingredients of a well-done Q&A performance is there: confidence, smile, eye contact, safe entrance yet exquisite exit…. That is how you deliver your answer….
