While waiting for the list of official candidates for Binibining Pilipinas 2014 (crossing my fingers that it will be later today), let me introduce to you another four hopefuls who are on a search for a spot on the list of official candidates. After meeting the come back queens and those with Binibini connection, I want you to meet those who crossed over from another national beauty pageant in the country. Crossing over to another national beauty pageant is pretty common in the country. Like any other venture, the cross over does not assure a candidate with a title but the national pageant experience surely helps. A perfect example of successful cross over beauty is Bea Santiago (Miss International 2013) who placed in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 prior to bagging a Binibini title. Now, let us meet the cross over ladies.
This enchanting lady represented Nagcarlan, Laguna in Miss Philippines Earth 2013. I adore her swan-like neck that speaks more on the grace and elegance. I was a big fan of her beauty last year and I am just happy that she got one of the titles. This year, Kim is ready to put the Binibini stage on fire with the help of Aces & Queen‘s teams! I am just wondering if the rumors are true that she is experiencing some issues with her Binibining Pilipinas application because of her existing contract with Miss Philippines Earth. I hope that this issue will be settled soon.
Emma Mary Tiglao
Emma is trying her Binibini luck with the help of Kagandahang Flores camp. Emma hopes to follow the footsteps of her Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 classmate Mutya Datul. Emma landed as a runner-up in the said pageant so she should not be taken lightly by the other candidates!
Carla Jenina Lizardo
If in case she will be considered as an official candidate, Binibining Pilipinas 2014 will be the third national pageant for Carla. She previously joined Mutya ng Pilipinas 2010 and Miss World Philippines 2012. Now, she is back and is eyeing for one of the Binibini crowns! Carla’s adventures in both MWP and Mutya were successful. Carla won the Intercontinental title in Mutya but wasn’t able to join the international pageant because of some personal issues. In MWP, Carla also placed as a finalist. Thus, I have high hopes for Carla and will surel be keeping an eye on this Aces & Queens entry.
Last, but definitely not the least, is another one of my favorites during Miss Philippines Earth 2013. Janine represented San Marcelino, Zambales. This entry of Kagandahang Flores fared well in MPE last year and placed as a finalist. We spoke over FB last year and she already mentioned that she is interested in joining Binibining Pilipinas last year. I also saw her posts in FB about her preparation for this year Binibini and this delegate is such a hardworking queen! I am crossing my fingers that this lady will be an official candidate and will do well in the competition!
As I mentioned earlier, these ladies are not assured of a title but we all know that their experiences in major national pageants will give them an idea on what to do this time! As we all know, experience is the best teacher.
