Miss USA 2014 (3rd Update): The “Do-Gooder” Queens

Behind the glitz and glamour of beauty pageants is a cause that the pageant is strongly supporting. And that is one of the reasons why pageants still matter today! Honestly, the queens who are “do-gooders” and those who know how to get down and be dirty with their charitable activities are much more adorable in my eyes 🙂 Case in point is Kimverlyn Suiza when she looked fantabulous helping out build a house during a Gawad Kalinga event during Miss Philippines Earth 2013 🙂

This year, Miss USA 2014 made sure that the candidates will have their share of giving back. Part of the candidates’ itinerary was for them to visit Women’s Hospital, the Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital and a visit to the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium with Best Buddies. Basing it on the photos, it seems that the candidates enjoyed the activities. The ladies should really be thankful for this opportunity 🙂
