Binibining Pilipinas 2018 (1st Update): The Search Starts!

It is the new year! And every January means the kick off of the biggest national beauty pageant competition in the Philippines – Binibining Pilipinas!

Just very recently, BPCI announced the start of the search for the next Binibini queens by officially opening the submission of application for Binibining Pilipinas 2018! This announcement is somewhat controversial because of the deadline for the submission of applications is very early, marking it on January 8. There is still a chance that the deadline will be extended based on past editions. However, rumor has it that BPCI is planning to publish the list of official candidates early on because of a mid-March coronation night date. This rumor just raises more questions especially that there are talks among beauty pageant fans that Miss Universe Organization is eager to have this year’s competition in the Summer. Now, are these all true?!? We will surely find out in the next few days.

This is exciting!

Nia Sanchez’s Miss Universe 2017 Review

I have a confession to make. I have been following the YouTube channel of Nia Sanchez! I love her and I love hearing her thoughts about Miss Universe. Here, Nia and her guest – Josselyn Garciglia of Mexico – gave their insights into what went down in Miss Universe 2017! I am posting this here because I agree with probably 90% of what they mentioned. I will be posting my own review over the weekend so please watch out for that.

I totally agree with majority of what they said. I love these two!
